First Choice Home Health is a leading home health care, personal care and private duty nursing company located in Bozeman, Montana. We are focused on delivering high quality and compassionate care to patients and clients in their homes. First Choice Home Health is Medicare certified and state licensed. We are the only locally owned and managed home health care agency in Gallatin County. We are also the only local agency providing both skilled home health care and private duty services.

Medicare’s Home Health Compare Star Rating System ranks First Choice Home Health #1 in Gallatin County, a level we’ve worked hard to achieve and consistently maintain. Our ranking is higher than the other home health care agencies in Bozeman, and higher than the national average. Results are compiled from patient outcomes, and patient satisfaction surveys.

In addition, we received a Top Agency of the Year award for 2015 by HomeCare Elite recognizing First Choice Home Health as one of the top 100 Medicare-certified agencies in the U.S., based on patient satisfaction surveys.

Our Private Duty Nursing division has received highest quality ratings by Home Care Pulse, a third-party quality assurance certification company for private duty home care providers, two years in a row. We are the recipient of both “Provider of Choice” and “Employer of Choice” certifications, which means our patients and employees have been independently surveyed. We are proud of the results that prove our staff and clients are receiving the excellent treatment they deserve.

First Choice Home Health was started in 2007 by Norm Dreyer, an occupational therapist and former nursing home administrator, who has a passion to help others and give back to our community. Norm’s love of the mountains and the outdoors brought him to Montana in 2004 from Columbus, Ohio, where he worked for most of his career in long-term health care.
